None could ever, really discern the reason for their transformation- for even Obelisk himself was a man. Nevertheless, the people of the realm began to rapidly adapt to their environment- taking on physical traits that would allow them to thrive in even the most, hostile biomes.

While some might see the denizens of Obelisk as primal or without humanity, the resemblance to the fair folk of other races is uncanny; reason enough to believe that they do- in fact- live as humans do.

For those hoping to explore the wilds or find work in towns, consider a moment to learn from these troubadours. There are few, better environments to learn than in the service of those who hold steadfast to tradition- even when at odds with the natural cycle of things."
